Objective:
Use the popularity of new products to showcase the range of audio cables available in the Dragon Cable lineup in an engaging, interesting way.
Process:
I wanted to convey a sense of hightened experience and premium quality with a stack of Chord Electronics products levitating above their tabletop. To accomplish that, I staged the photo using glass Tupperware containers from our break room and edited them out in Photoshop.
Months later on a short deadline, I was tasked with creating a new fullpage ad highlighting our IEM cables. After some thought I chose the “Perfect Harmony” concept. I used a combination of stock photos and carefully staged product photos to create a layout with a similar aesthetic to the original advertisement. This time two sets of portable audio systems lay on sand with Dragon Cables curling between them to create the form of yin and yang.
I’ve also since updated the original concept to include a pair of headphones.
